EDUCATIONAL OUTING

The Michael & Debbie Carter Center for American History:
Our American Journey

Saturday, October 10 @ 10:30am-Noon

With our nation’s 250th anniversary in mind, our Board of Christian Education has arranged for a tour of the Carter Center located on Sinclair Community College’s Dayton Campus.  This immersive exhibit is dedicated to telling underrepresented stories of American history. Through artifacts, multimedia displays, and curated narratives, the Center highlights the experiences, contributions, and resilience of Americans from the era of enslavement through the civil rights movement and beyond.

The plan will be to meet up at the Carter Center for a tour starting at 10:30am, which will take 1-1 1/2 hours.  Parking is free, and directions are below. RSVP’s are helpful, but not required. Just email Pastor Jason at jalspaugh@fbcdayton.org if you plan to come and/or have any questions.
